Descripción
Sumario:Freinet pedagogy is an educational proposal that allows children to express themselves and brings their interests and experiences into the classroom to foster the educational process. For Célestin Freinet, it was the printing press that permitted the exercise of democratization of education. This interest in modernizing the school is not only limited to the work done in the classroom, but also aims to assist in social transformation, going beyond school boundaries, which brings us to the use of another technique: the school newspaper. This article aims to look into the importance of Freinet techniques in 21st century schools, and show their usefulness when linked to a series of communicative possibilities. To do so, we start with a proposal to adapt the use of printing to ICT. In addition, we show the relevance of the use of the school newspaper, associated with the development of creativity and the promotion of interest in the press and the news from a critical perspective, as a proposal for the improvement of educational practice.
