| Sumario: | In all the Columbretes islands there are rocks with amphiboles, in many cases in accidental fragments within the tuffs. All of them are magnesium-hastingsites, more or less zoned and reabsorbed. The amphiboles of the central islands of the main N-S alignment have formed at lower temperature and pressure than the rest. The calculated formation depths are approximately the Moho depth for the area. |
