| Sumario: | Since the publication of the 2015 European Society of Cardiology (ESC) guidelines for the management of endocarditis, important new data have been published mandating an update of recommendations, which are synthetized in these current 2023 ESC guidelines.1,2 This article, prepared by a group of experts proposed by the Guidelines Committee of the Spanish Society of Cardiology, aims to highlight the most relevant novelties, the consequences of their implementation in our setting, and the gaps in evidence in order to improve local clinical practice. |
