| Sumario: | This is the report of the the cases of infective endocarditis in La Rioja from 2008 to 2018, in which we analyzed the epidemiological, clinical, evolution, microbiological, therapeutic characteristics and the prognosis of the patients included. The main contribution of this work is its homogeneity. The study was carried out in the same Hospital, which is a benchmark for the entire Autonomous Community, and the same study protocol was applied throughout the entire period. The diagnostic and therapeutic management of the cases has been carried out by the members of the Support Group for the Management of Endocarditis at our Center since 2008, coordinated from the Infectious Diseases Service. |
