Resumo:The monitoring and evaluation of mentor-mentee couplesin mentoring programs are of vital importance for the development of effective social support for young people. In order to improve the procedures thatensure the quality of relationships, this article presents the experience of implementing a digital application. This application provides real-time information on key eventsof of all couples through a data monitoring and synchronization system. The so-called Messagenes app was tested with 131 mentors and 132 mentees during their participation in the Nightingale project, a community-based mentoring programme whose objective is to promote the social inclusion of minors of immigrant origin. The results demonstrate the benefits of using new technologies that generate a systematic record of activity to support the management of each case, thus achieving successful mentoring
