Additionally, this dissertation aims to present a translation of four previously untranslated short stories, taken from the contemporary anthology "A Wolf at the Door". In order to accomplish this, the translation of four tales is presented, which belong to the genre of fairy tale retellings. This genre was selected because it allows the researcher the possibility to study the retelling techniques employed and to compare them to the techniques necessary to domesticate a text.
