| Sumario: | [EN] The objective was to analyse COVID-19-related concerns and emotional adjustment among adolescents in Ecuador, studying differences at two time points 3-6 months and 6-9 months after the onset of the pandemic. A total of 902 participants were assessed for emotional adjustment through the DASS-21 and COVID-19 concerns. A total of 79.90% were girls. Their ages ranged from 12 to 17 years (M = 15.30, SD = 1.28). The results indicate differences between the samples at the different time points indicating a higher presence of anxious-depressive symptomatology, stress and worries at time point except for financial worries which are higher at time point one. Concerns about COVID-19 are negatively related to emotional adjustment. In conclusion, analysing the psychological impact on adjustment to the adolescent stage may help to further explore the short- and long-term consequences of the pandemic. |
