Descrição
Resumo:A taxonomic study of the cyanophyceae in the thermal springs of ((As Burgas» is made and more significative data is given on some physical and chemical environmental parameters which affect their development. The alga covering on granitic base, is proved widespread because of the alkaline pH of the water at a temperature between 64'C and environmental temperature, according to the different tested items. Twenty-six species have been identifies. The largest covering is given by Mastigocladus laminosus (Kütz.) Cohn., which is found in a lawny, laminated form or in gelatinous shapeless masses.
