| Sumario: | [EN] Joaquín Vaquero Palacios legacy must be analyzed taking into account his simultaneous work in the fields of architecture and plastic art (painting and sculpture). A dialogic relationship, where the influences of several life and artistic experiences, driven by the observant spirit of a tireless traveler, were fed back into these disciplines. The synchronic analysis of his architecture and painting, in their various stages, will confirm the synergy established between specific practices and an artistic thinking in permanent experimentation and dialogue with its contemporaneity. The objective is to make the importance of learning architectural drawing as a necessary tool for all its production, visible, and to demonstrate the influence it exerted on a painting which is characterized by the sharpness of contours, formal clarity and, above all, by a compositional balance, in which matter, texture and construction will confirm the logical coherence between the architect s painting and the painter s architecture, based on this aforementioned learning. |
