Sumario:This dataset contains the data related to the article "Comparing a LEGO® Serious Play Activity With a Traditional Lecture in Software Engineering Education" with DOI 10.1109/ACCESS.2024.3403504. This dataset contains data of 227 software engineering students, 110 of which belonged to the control group while the other 117 were part of the experimental group. The first tab of the file contains pre-test and post-test scores, and the resulting Learning gain for each student, whereas the second tab of the file contains the results of a perceptions questionnaire with 9 items (2 items were only fullfilled by students of the experimental group). All data was anonymized so that the identity of the participants cannot be ascertained. The aforementioned article can be openly accessed at https://doi.org/10.1109/ACCESS.2024.3403504.
