| Sumario: | Signet-ring cell carcinoma is a rare subtype of poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma with aggressive behavior originated in the gastric mucosa in most cases. However, there are other less frequent locations such as the ileum where ten cases have been reported worldwide to this date, six of them developing in the context of Crohn's disease.
