Sumario:This research titled “Workplace harassment and its lack of regulation in article 172 of the labor code” is aimed at analyzing workplace harassment in the private sector from a legal point of view. This objective is carried out by studying the different doctrines that support the legal figure in question, determining all its antecedents and the evolution of workplace harassment throughout history. The deductive methodology was used and among the types of research used we have: the historical, documentary, explanatory, descriptive. The approach used in this research is mixed, thus qualitative and quantitative. Finally, as techniques and instruments, interviews and surveys were used. JEL CODE: J01, J16.
