In the Amaguaña Transit Fiscal Education Unit located in the northeast of the city of Guayaquil it was detected that students of the Unified General High School were consuming psychotropic substances and / or narcotics, which affects their school performance, generates situations of school violence, risk increase in consumers, among other problems……………Los problemas de adicción en los estudiantes de Bachillerato General Unificado se manifiestan desde las sustancias más comunes como el alcohol y el tabaco hasta las sustancias psicotrópicas y/o estupefacientes más sintéticas. Es sin duda un problema de salud pública el tema de las drogas en muchos países latinoamericanos, en este sentido, en el Ecuador cada año se ha registrado un incremento alarmante en el consumo de sustancias psicotrópicas y/o estupefacientes en la población juvenil.
