It can be highlighted that the teaching - learning process comprises a series of activities in which the teacher must do and carry out, so that their students can obtain a correct development of the subject. However, according to the study carried out, it is evidenced that there are problems in terms of the knowledge of teachers based on their teaching chair, it can be observed that there are a large number of students who have low performance in the subject of Language and Literature, the lack of didactic resources as well as the updating of knowledge is also evident, this and other problems that could be consulted demonstrate a problematic situation that is affecting the performance of students who are below the regular……..El presente estudio se direcciona hacia la forma de cómo se relaciona el proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje y el bajo rendimiento en el área de Lengua y Literatura de los estudiantes de 6to año de educación general básica de la Unidad Educativa Tnte. Hugo Ortiz. Se puede destacar que el proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje comprende una serie de actividades en las que el docente debe hacer y realizar, para que sus estudiantes puedan obtener un correcto desenvolvimiento de la asignatura.
