Sumario:The present research aims to analyze the teaching performance and its incidence in the learning of Mathematics in students with low performance in Higher Basic General Education, at the Paulino Milan Herrera Educational Unit, school period 2019-2020. Poor performance problems were detected in the students of the E.G.B. Superior in the subject of Mathematics has been dragging for many years, since the students in their majority have problems in being able to assimilate the skills required for the mastery of contents in the subject. The main factor that influences the low academic performance is the poor performance of the teachers of the subject with poor planning of the classes on the part of the teacher, not using appropriate learning techniques, resulting in students with low academic performance showing little importance of the teacher in the learning towards the students when obtaining low grades…………..
