Resumo:The consumption of legal or controlled psychoactive substances represents a social problem that affects different dimensions of the subject. Thus, it turns out It is essential to mention that the effects produced by the mono and polyconsumption of substances will be reflected in physical and mental effects, which are usually associated with presence of aggressive acts domestic violence, damage to private property, homicides linked to drug trafficking and criminal organizations and are associated to criminal justice. However, the legal consequences will be related to the type, frequency and intensity of substance use. Faced with this difficulty, at worldwide there are multiple programs focused on the promotion and prevention of consumption of substances that pose guidelines and protocols applicable to services public and private in each country. In the case of Ecuador, the situation is the same, since the authorities in charge must guarantee the rights of those involved in these circumstances, despite this, it is necessary to monitor and comply with these processes. This paper aims to describe the essential aspects of the substances most common psychoactive and its link with aggressiveness, a social problem that must be considered in the psychological expert evaluation, since the presence of crimes may be or not associated with the consumption of psychoactive substances.
