| Sumario: | Democratic leadership, also known as participatory, is a leadership style that allows creating a greater commitment with the organization as it focuses in the subordinates involving them in the decision making, delegating authority and using feedback as a means to direct and correct errors. Proceeded to do a bibliographical research in the databases on the concept and characteristics of leadership and democratic leadership. From the analysis of different points of view this issue is concluded that democratic leadership facilities the integration, foments team works, allows active participation in making decisions, through dialogue and therefore increases job satisfaction, professional development and improves the quality of decisions to achieve the proposed objectives. |
