Sumario:The mandatory transition from face-to-face education to virtuality in confinement brings uscloser to the use of virtual classrooms in an accelerated way, the objective of this work is tocarry out a bibliographic review around the question: How should the teacher use typographyin virtual classrooms Learning? Considering the behavior of the student in the new space andthe characteristics of typographic readability from the printed media. It was found that the useof virtual classrooms is carried out in rebound, that is, the student looks for the topics ofinterest and deepens them through a non-linear reading, for this reason it is recommended:dividing the information of the virtual classroom into segments, use of sans serif typeface, useof uppercase and lowercase letters; define the typography for on-screen display in the CSSusing percentages so that the reader can enlarge or decrease the font size and provideaccessibility to students with visual difficulties; clear and concise wording; define informationhierarchies; enter subtitles; emphasize words with use of bold or italics; use links and textswith contrasting backgrounds. It is important to clarify that although it is true and based onreadability, the use of typography is suggested in this way, the type of communicationdepends on the target group and the message to be communicated, in addition, extensivereading material must be placed within the reach of the users. students in formats that allowthem to be downloaded and printed, facilitating their reading.
