Sumario:ABSTRACT: The students dedicate effort, knowledge and application of different instruments with the aim of fulfilling the learning objectives of the different subjects that are taught in the classroom, with the purpose of reaching high percentages in the verification and verification of the knowledge reached by the student during each school term. Considering this criterion, this investigation is carried out in order to know the incidence of the summative evaluations of Chemistry in the third year of high school of the Don Bosco Fiscomisional Educational Unit of the city of Macas, in the learning results, with regarding summative evaluation. In the educational area, evaluations or compendiums of these represent a qualitative and quantitative way of assessing the information acquired by the student, through the use of procedures, techniques and tools that come together in favor of carrying out educational work with commitment and responsibility and thus highlight the abilities of each of the students. For this analysis, the non-experimental scientific method was used, at a descriptive level, framed within the quantitative approach, on a sample of one hundred and eight students, to whom the survey was applied to identify the evaluation methods used by teachers that influence the results. learning results of the students of the Don Bosco Fiscomisional Educational Unit of the city of Macas. The results of the investigation showed that the majority of the students are not satisfied with the summative evaluation, due to several factors such as the uncertainty during the school period to know if they pass or not to the next level, the results are not consistent with the level of learning which causes generation of stress, desertion and repetition; Given this, it is proposed to carry out a test that could be received by chapters, within each study period, as well as training teachers in the preparation of evaluation inputs.
