Since the installed load is broken down by zones and the group that represents the highest energy consumption per month is identified, the selection of measures to improve energy efficiency is based on an examination of the existing situation. The investigation demonstrates and concludes that the request for a modification in the rate schedule would mean a substantial saving of $2,579,904 per year.El diagnóstico de las instalaciones eléctricas se realizó mediane visitas de campo, mediciones de parámetros eléctricos y pruebas de calidad de energía. Consecuentemente, fue crucial describir el estado actual del sistema eléctrico de la empresa en comparación con las normas vigentes NTE INEN 2969 y ARCONEL, relacionadas con los niveles de iluminación y calidad de la energía, respectivamente. Dado que la carga instalada se desglosa por zonas y se identifica el grupo que representa el mayor consumo de energía al mes, la selección de medidas para mejorar la eficiencia energética se basa en un examen de la situación existente.
