This essay proposes a reading of three of the author’s works, considering a dynamic and changing overlay between homeland and exile, body images that inhabit them, and a writing that can sometimes be self-referential, revealing her relationship with the body and, therefore, with memory.La obra de Margarita García Robayo (Cartagena de Indias, 1980) se caracteriza por un tono crudo e irónico. En esa medida, parece una intención de la autora tomar lo socialmente establecido para ponerlo en crisis, recurriendo a ciertas imágenes corporales incómodas y desconcertantes, para desestimar su condición de invariabilidad.
