This proposal of construction materials for interiors, borns from the need to reduce the environmental contamination due to the excessive plastic waste, and to support the application of alternative natural materials. In this sense, the proportions of the resin are analyzed in order to find the optimum one for its solidification without compromising the both components. The result of this work shows the elaboration process of a decorative sheet, applicable to translucent elements.El presente trabajo plantea el proceso de elaboración artesanal de una lámina decorativa a partir de la Carludovica Palmata, que representa una de las fibras vegetales de alta resistencia y de hojuelas de plástico PET reciclado en combinación de resina poliéster como acabado general. Esta propuesta de material de construcción para interiores de viviendas, nace a partir de la necesidad de reducir los problemas de contaminación existente a nivel ambiental, por el uso excesivo de plásticos de un solo uso y de incentivar la aplicación de materiales naturales alternativos. En este sentido, se analizan las proporciones óptimas de la resina para su solidificación sin afectar los componentes tanto del plástico como de la fibra vegetal.
