Based on cultural studies and content analysis, here we are interested in formulating a reading of the cultural representations of the “Mexican”, in the key of the nation, which aim to build imaginaries of interculturality in the coordinates of narrative universes where there is a struggle for a re-definition of the human. In particular, the universe of Sense8 and the bolero is worked on: “Perfidia”, since it functions as a local signifier in a world where the limits of the national are broken by the effects of human “evolution”, but where it “Global” continues to maintain the geopolitical differences between North and South. Thus, a critical reading is proposed that speaks of the politics of representations in the context of the hyperproduction of narrative differences and bets for “inclusion” in Netflix.La biblioteca audiovisual de Netflix aparenta una inclusión social fundamental, una interculturalidad definitiva; por ello, lo referente a las representaciones de los colectivos sigue siendo de interés académico y más en un país de fuerte tradición en el consumo de la televisión, como México. Partiendo de los estudios culturales y del análisis de contenido, aquí nos interesa formular una lectura a propósito de las representaciones culturales de lo “mexicano”, en clave de nación, que apuestan a construir imaginarios de interculturalidad en las coordenadas de universos narrativos donde se pugna por una redefinición de lo humano. En particular, se trabaja el universo de la serie Sense8 y, en él, el bolero “Perfidia”, que funge como significante local en un mundo donde los límites de lo nacional se rompen por efectos de la “evolución” humana, pero donde lo “global” sigue manteniendo las diferencias geopolíticas entre el Norte y el Sur.
