| Sumario: | In Latin American society and specifically in Colombia, the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), require significant changes in the way of teaching and learning processes, as the new generations require a more effective, dynamic and Effective. This research aimed to design and implement strategic guidelines for the use of ICT in the ninth grade of the Eustorgio Colmenares Baptista educational institution in the city of Cúcuta, in the northern department of Santander. Theoretically it is based on the contributions of the knowledge society and the computerized technology. Methodologically, it is based on a qualitative study under Action Research, with 41 students who participated as main actors. A proposal containing three thematic units was executed (blogs, web pages and email), which allowed us to observe how students can reach high levels of motivation towards the use of ICT when the activities or the resource used call them the attention, as in the case of this study with the Blog, which became the technological resource used, supported by web pages and email. |
