Sumario:In this research, the necessity to study the right to resistance of the indigenous people and nationalities of Ecuador, in the face of the progressive use of the Public Force, is developed within the constitutional context, the research complies with the execution of four phases that they include: the first phase: that is the introductory section on the subject of study, where the objective of this work is clearly identified. The second phase comprises a detailed, documentary and bibliographic study of the right to resistance and the progressive use of public force. The third phase consists of the collection and analysis of data obtained from the action research under the qualitative approach, which contributed to identify the scope of the progressive use of the public force and mainly the effects that occur according to the circumstances in which it occurs apply. The fourth phase corresponds to the analysis and discussion of the results, where the limits of the progressive use of public force can be seen in the face of the exercise of the right to resistance, determining an analysis with a constitutional approach. Finally, conclusions and recommendations were structured that specified the structure of the investigative work.
