Sumario:For the present research work was raised as a goal: Determine that the game as a teaching strategy is the most effective activity to ensure significant learning in children of first year of General Basic Education School "Mater Dei". It was considered as research shows one authority, 3 teachers and 60 children in the first year of basic education; and methods: inductive, deductive, analytical, synthetic and statistical; techniques, surveys and observation sheets; the type of descriptive study. The results for the 66.67%, indicating that the game is in the best teaching strategy for children to achieve meaningful learning. At the conclusion of alternative guidelines proposed to contribute to the strengthening of meaningful learning and improving participatory activity of children and feedback of learning with the help of educational games like support teaching strategies in the classroom.
