| Sumario: | This research report is reflected in the need to strengthen and value interculturality as a challenge for Ecuadorian education and therefore revitalize different cultural manifestations, be these customs, traditions, worldview, ancestral knowledge, behaviors and values that always and when there is respect and equality between cultures; since its importance lies in the fact that the Ecuadorian State itself has been defined as "intercultural" and "plurinational" according to the Constitution of Ecuador 2008 in its Art. 1. Therefore, the objective of collecting ancestral knowledge and knowledge is proposed. for the revaluation and empowerment of interculturality in the teaching-learning process in the Centro Educativo Comunitario Intercultural Bilingüe "Segundo Manuel Vásconez Caillagua". The methodology applied in the present investigation has been carried out through the qualitative approach, since it provides depth to the data, interpretative richness, details and unique experiences; it also brings a “fresh, natural and holistic” point of view of the phenomena, as well as flexibility. The technique used for data collection was the exhaustive interview; Therefore, the conclusion is reached that it is of the utmost urgency and given the great diversity and importance of the Educational Center, a viable and reliable methodological design was necessary to compile and systematize the ancestral knowledge and knowledge transmitted from our ancestors. up to the present, taking a community that offers traits of potential referentiality. |
