Resumo:Nowadays, it is important to link education with technology, considering the demands of the knowledge society and the responsibility to provide a holistic education to the students, which responds to the fulfilment of the standards of educational quality, TICS offers us a variety of tools and platforms which it serves to promote learning and to improve the teaching at different levels of formal education. It is for this reason that the general objective of the research is to demonstrate that the informatics application Educaplay as a strategy contributes to the learning of the Biomolecules in the first year of the bachelorship of the Educational Unit Andres F. Cordova. This study was developed under a quantitative approach, quasi experimental design, carried out with a control group and one of experimentation. The techniques for collecting data were the survey and tests, having as instruments the questionnaires and the objective test. The hypothetical deductive and the statistic were used as methods, arriving at the verification of the hypothesis by means of the statistic Z for two samples. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that the application of the Educaplay computer technique through: crosswords, interactive maps and video quiz, it contributes significantly to the learning of the biomolecules, emphasizing the academic performance in the experimental group with a mean of 8.56 /10, in Where the majority of students reach the required learning and many are projected to dominate them in comparison to the control group whose value is 6.51 / 10. The activities carried out in Educaplay for the study of the biomolecules developed in this research are presented in a guide as an alternative proposal.
