| Resumo: | This research consists of the "EVALUATION OF THE SUPPLY CHAIN OF THE URBAN SOLID RESIDUOS OF THE QUEVEDO CANTON" in the Province of Los Ríos. For the process of this research, objectives were developed and analyzed in order to assess each of the determining factors that cause incorrect waste management. The interview conducted with the department of the environment of Quevedo where the current links present in the supply chain was determined is the generation process and the final arrangement made. Consequently, the three essential aspects of incidents were assessed directly with the issues studied described below. the economic aspect where a field visit was made to the facilities of the Consorcio Ingenio S.A., through direct observation and explanatory and descriptive research, information was obtained from the processes of collection and transport of waste to the emerging cell. through the interview with the president of the association "Living with Dignity" and the assistive observation was established through the FODA analysis the external and internal factors focusing actions to improve their working conditions. The method of identification and evaluation applied in the environmental aspect is the Leopold matrix highlighting that the actions in the final arrangement are the most negative impact presents mainly in air and soil quality. Therefore, a proposal to optimize the supply chain of Urban Solid Waste is made presenting the flow of information and materials complementing an analysis of transport and operation costs in order to generate improvements in the parameters oriented to sustainability (economic, social, environmental). Keywords: Supply Chain, Urban Solid Waste, Environmental Pollution. |
