Sumario:The research project seeks to obtain a general idea of the technical conditions necessary for the Oil Interconnected Electric System to operate safely and reliably. Therefore, the analysis of the power reserves has been used for the frequency control of this system, through approximate simulations of its behavior in both stable and dynamic states, in the event of eventualities that put stability at risk. of the system. For the fulfillment of the stated objectives, a survey of existing information has been developed in the academy and in different IEEE specialized technical reports on the subject, with the purpose of modeling a type of standard generator with its respective speed and voltage controllers, making use of of the models available in the software library and parameterizing them based on the recommendations presented in IEEE scientific articles. Finally, the models used were put to the test, through the simulation of case studies that allowed identifying certain shortcomings of the system, with which actions were recommended to mitigate its inadequate functioning, thus complying with the permissible limits of frequency for operation of electric power systems in the ecuadorian electric sector.
