Sumario:The research arises to raise awareness and guide in the community of the Educational Unit "Rotary Club", the importance of healthy habits and efficient nutrition in effective education. The problem is that preschool children practice bad eating habits, preferably consuming junk food, propping up problems of overweight, obesity and malnutrition. From this argument, the problem is formulated as: How do eating habits influence the school performance of initial children? To solve the question, the objective was to develop a feeding program “Charge the batteries” to teach good eating habits through pedagogical activities, guaranteeing a better quality of life and better nutrition for the learning process. From the specific objectives, it is derived the foundation, diagnosis, design, application and validation of the feeding program that used a mixed methodology, with a qualitative and quantitative approach, for interpreting statistical information on the nutritional status and dietary perspective of the children. The instruments used for the study were the survey and the interview, from which valuable information was obtained from students, teachers, parents and authorities as job informants. The VAAE methodology (see, learn, act and evaluate) of the proposal helped to consolidate the activities suitable for the needs of the students, inciting results inherent to nutritional education that allow improving eating habits in 4-year-old infants and their education.
