Sumario:The research has as its theme the preparation of the elementary level teacher in order to provide effective attention to children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The author carries out an analysis of the problem at present, corroborating the generalized and superficial character of teacher preparation as a process in institutions, focusing on documentary and statistical problems and not on the real needs of the teacher to be able to attend to their students, from the diversity of characteristics and styles.
