Sumario:In this investigation of name: ALTERNATIVE METHODS TO THE SOLUTION OF CONFLICTS IN THE ECUADORIAN PENAL SYSTEM. The purpose of this research project is due to the existence of a research problem found in the legal figure of conciliation in criminal matters, its study being unavoidable since the application of alternative methods of conflict resolution is currently being promoted, such as a quick means to be able to remedy the inconveniences between people, as well as to achieve decongestion in the prosecutor's offices and in the criminal guarantees courts. The methodology used refers to inductive research methods commonly used as types of comparative and documentary research, and the application of appropriate techniques and instruments such as surveys and interviews; framed in the line of investigation of competent and doctrinal foundations of criminal sciences in Ecuador. Trends and perspectives. The results achieved through the application of different theories, the different surveys carried out to Judges of Criminal Guarantees, Prosecutors, and Lawyers in the free exercise confirm the hypothesis raised; and finally the research is validated through the criteria of the experts.
