Sumario:Major risk management has been developed in the facilities of the Rosa Zárate Educational Unit of Salcedo City to establish a timely and rapid response to any adverse eventuality, thus complying with the established guidelines and carrying out technical management through identification and evaluation of threats using the MEIPEE, MESERI, NFPA and FEMA 154 methods, which have offered both a quantitative and qualitative evaluation methodology. As a result of the identification and evaluation using the MEIPEE method, it has been determined that in blocks 1 and 2 of the educational unit there is a high risk for volcanic eruptions and earthquakes, while by the NFPA and MESERI methods when evaluating the fuel loads of the two blocks, a low fire risk has been determined. Likewise, the structure of both blocks was qualitatively evaluated using the FEMA 154 method, stating that they have a low level of seismic vulnerability except for two modules that require a specific evaluation. In compliance with the objective of establishing adequate management that maintains a positive impact within the educational institution, the Emergency and Contingency Plan has been implemented, whose guidelines, procedures and protocols have been corroborated in terms of its functionality and effectiveness in its application and implemented in a simulacrum, , thus demonstrating prompt reactions on the part of its brigades and members, and therefore guaranteeing in this way the physical integrity and safety of all those who make up the educational institution.
