Specifically, our goal is to analyze the use of the tool Webquest within a language class where the field of tourism is tackled because it is one of the most interesting areas when it comes to addressing the issue of specialized languages. In addition, it is worth pointing out the strong demand for Spanish courses in tourism on the part of large groups of students, both within the academic context and within the professional and school framework.El presente artículo tiene una doble vertiente: por un lado, se plantea destacar la utilidad que pueden ofrecer las modernas herramientas informáticas y multimedia a la didáctica de lenguas extranjeras y, por el otro, se propone hacer hincapié en la relación fructífera que se puede establecer entre estas “innovaciones” didácticas y la enseñanza de las lenguas con fines específicos. En concreto, nuestro objetivo es el de analizar el aprovechamiento de la herramienta Webquest en una clase de español del turismo por tratarse de uno de los ámbitos que más interés despierta a la hora de abordar el tema de las lenguas de especialidad. En efecto, pretendemos brindar algunos planteamientos, tanto teóricos como prácticos, orientados a la elaboración de un itinerario turístico a través de una Webquest.
