This discursive dialogism occurs in a space herein called the «narrative room». Deeply rooted in Latin American literary tradition, this phenomenon has produced texts with different degrees of hybridity that blur the boundaries between Latin American literature and journalism.Este artículo investiga las imbricaciones y porosidades entre la ficción y la no ficción en América Latina y analiza un proceso textual de doble vía en el que escritores que trabajaron en periódicos incluyeron estilos y características de la literatura en su quehacer periodístico al mismo tiempo que crearon obras de ficción basadas o influenciadas en su labor como reporteros.
