In the other hand, it underline the intercultural perspective as a path to overcome the eurocentrism and North-American tradition in the pursuit of a paradigmatic change that allow to vindicate the contribution of the nontraditional but participative and proactive social actors.El presente artículo tiene como propósito central lograr una aproximación teórica al análisis de la construcción de un pensamiento sociológico latinoamericano decolonial a partir de la superación del eurocentrismo y la perspectiva intercultural. Por tal motivo,se destaca la importancia de abordar en primer lugar todos los aspectos que conciernen al proceso de modernidad y su estrategia constitutiva: la colonialidad, para mostrar las bases sobre las cuales se ha construido el pensamiento sociológico latinoamericanoy del Caribe tradicional.
