Description
Summary:This investigation aims to make a conceptual update to parents and teachers on the problems that some children are experiencing on a daily basis in their school years, due to the occurrence of problematic behaviors that affect their academic, social and family-related development. With this objective in mind, the investigation was carried out to determine the relationship between Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Behavioral Disorder (BD) in children between the ages of 10 and 12 at the Escuela Normal Superior de Ibague, Tolima. Using the evaluation instruments D2 and EDAH, it was carried out under the quantitative approach (empirical-analytical); Implementing a non-experimental cross-sectional design taking into account that the measurement instruments are standardized, the study had a correlational scope, whose purpose was to analyze the relationship between the study variables (Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder - Behavioral Disorder) (Hernandez, Fernandez, & Baptista, 2014 ).The results obtained from the general correlation of the variables ADHD and BD are: (a) It is evident that there is no correlation between the ADHD and the BD. (b) It is evident that there is no correlation between the ADHD and the BD in the male gender. (c) It is evident that there is a correlation between ADHD and BD in the female gender
