Si revisamos la poesía escrita por autores de origen mapuche en estos últimos diez años, vemos como estos se enfrentan a nuevos desafíos, tanto estéticos y culturales, en donde el escritor desarrolla un trabajo crítico sobre sí mismo y su obra. Estos discursos se emparentan a los distintos movimientos sociales y políticos, por lo mismo, resulta necesario releer estos textos a partir de los nuevos elementos que se articulan en el momento de su producción y su publicación. El objetivo de esta investigación es comprobar cómo el movimiento autonomista se manifiesta en la literatura mapuche a partir del posicionamiento y afirmación de la identidad champurria, que se va desarrollando a través de dos ejes temáticos. Primero, el de una escritura que apunta a la conformación de un Pueblo Nación mapuche y, segundo, la incorporación de un discurso en donde se problematiza la crisis medioambiental, que se cruza con el discurso autonomista. Estos conceptos trabajados en la literatura mapuche resignifican la forma de abordar la ‘cuestión indígena’ y emparentan el discurso literario a los movimientos sociales. Para esto, trabajaremos con cuatro poetas mapuche; Liliana Ancalao, David Añiñir, Leonel Lienlaf y Rubén Curricoy.
