Sumario:Introduction: There is a positive effect of PA in various dimensions of human activity, the relationship with social and physical aspects, to a lesser extent with psychological and neuropsychological aspects, even at crucial stages for growth. Objective: To analyze the differences in the development of neuropsychological function according to the level of physical activity of preschoolers. Method: Quantitative approach, descriptive type, non-experimental design, descriptive transectional. Non-probability sample, 140 preschoolers (5.03 ± 0.70), from the Valparaíso region, Chile. The level of PA was measured with the GT3X triaxial accelerometer, the data were processed with Actilife 6 software and the neuropsychological function with the BENCI children's computerized neuropsychological evaluation battery. Statistical analysis of the data was performed with SPSS V25.0 software, considered a value of p ≤0.05. Results: Most of the time sedentary activities are carried out. Significant differences in domains such as memory, executive function, language and visual-motor coordination, both in light, moderate and vigorous PA levels, but not in sedentary behavior. Discussion: The older the patient, the more optimal the development of neuropsychological functions and the evidence between both variables shows that FA benefits better cognitive development. Conclusions: There are differences regarding the level of development of neuropsychological function according to the level of physical activity of preschoolers.
