| Sumario: | This dissertation aims to report the information derived from the study of the dynamics pseudo-spin state of the exciton-polariton formed in a semiconductor microcavity based on Gallium Arsenide. Exciton-polariton state is presented as an effect of coupling between the excitation of the electromagnetic eld and exciton state following the formalism of many- body quantum theory. Some physical characteristics of the microcavity are described, showing the relationship in the inter-band electronic transition between exciton spin and polarized excitation beam. The concept of pseudo-spin polariton is built and the main aspects of its dynamics, formation and relaxation, are discussed. Finally, we describesome results obtained by photoluminescence measurements resolved in time, exploring the possible mechanisms of spin relaxation on microcavity. |
