| Sumario: | The central idea of this work is to present the path taken by Albert Camus regarding the theme from the absurdity of an irrational world to revolt as possibilities for action with a philosophical anthropological perspective in the works: The Myth of Sisyphus and The Rebel Man. Starting from the beginning of the understanding about the absurd in The Myth of Sisyphus, where the absurd is seen as the awakening of a mechanical life that brings the consciousness that the man is alone before a life without meaning and that is treated by Camus on the one hand, as a conflict between the desire for clarity of man and, on the other hand, a world that offers as answer the irrationality of an environment devoid of meaning, characterizing a divorce between man and the world, in this way, the absurd became in revolt. Coming to the book The Rebel Man, we will see the criticism made by Camus to the revolt of man in the metaphysical and historical scope: the revolt is not a mechanical reaction, but a conscious act. Faced with this awareness left by the relationship of human nostalgia and the irrationality of the world, we will see how this man of revolt acts before this in consequent world that legitimizes and authorizes almost everything. |
