To put into perspective the structural conditions of returned indigenous youth, this population is compared with that of young non-migrant Mexicans and young returnees. Among the main findings is that most of the population of young indigenous returnees are men from the state of Oaxaca, it also shows that a significant percentage returns to rural communities and are engaged in activities related to the field and crafts. It concludes with a reflection on the social disadvantages of returning indigenous migrant youth.
