Descripción
Sumario:The article aims to understand the return experiences of Argentinian from Spain in the context of the economic crisis (2008-2017). The work is analysed under the assumption that the macro-structural elements of the receiving context (economic and labour crisis) operate as triggers in the decision to return, but the factors linked to the micro and meso level and their interconnection with the macro-structural context illuminate other variables that allow us to identify different motivations, expectations and strategies to plan the return. Using a qualitative methodology based on in-depth interviews, two central factors in the preparation of return are analysed: pre- and post-return transnational links and the set of resources accumulated (and mobilised) before, after and during migration.
