| Sumario: | INTRODUCTION: Breastfeeding is the gold standard practice in infant feeding, as its benefits extend beyond childhood, providing the best quality of life for the baby, a family and society. PURPOSE: to list the actions taken before and during the covid-19 pandemic. METHODOLOGY: this is an experience report, describing and comparing the activities of an extension project in a presential period and in social distancing. RESULTS: Increased public reach during the pandemic through online activities. DISCUSSION: a pandemic made the world reorganize and with extension projects were no different, it was necessary to reinvent itself to continue promoting extension activities. CONCLUSION: even far from the places, the project can reach the target audience through online. Achieving the objective of promoting and protecting breastfeeding, based on safety information and making women protagonists of breastfeeding. |
