| Resumo: | Based on the radical setbacks in current Brazilian politics, which reinforce the reproductive heteronomy of the traditional family and the privileged conditions of private property as strategic devices of neoliberal attachments and resilience, the aim of this article is to reflect on the importance of LGBTQIAPN+ representations as an aesthetic and creative force for subverting processes of appropriation of the city, countering the conventional forms of heterocispatriarchal reification marked by relations of hierarchy, violence, exclusion and inequalities. The research procedure is organised around the method of bibliographical review, incorporating observation and critical argumentation of recent socio-cultural phenomena implied by moralistic discourses and socio-spatial segmentations. In the end, it is argued that the political and community alliances associated with gender and sexuality dissidence correspond to social practices of resistance that do much to extend political rights, but also to overcome their most fundamental assumptions regarding the emergence of social utopianism in its recent historical processes, by persisting in equal rights for all people. |
