We know that the terms reading and writing are not specific objects of Benveniste's study. However, based on his assertions about language, man and society, we believe that productive teaching work is possible, in which reading and writing become enunciative activities where announcers put themselves as subjects of their act of saying in a singular relation between I-you-here-now. The methodology used in this proposal presents qualitative-methodological principles for an analysis of texts in different situations of language teaching in school, taking it as a unit of learning, specifically in activities involving reading and writing. The intention is to reflect on teachers education, observing their activities of analysis, necessarily enunciative, with texts - in their reading and writing dimensions, at basic education schools.O objetivo deste trabalho é propor uma discussão acerca da centralidade do texto nos processos de leitura e escrita na escola, enquanto processos singulares de aprendizagens, ancorados numa visão enunciativa de linguagem. A fundamentação teórica que embasa este estudo, quanto aos princípios teórico-metodológicos, são as reflexões do linguista Émile Benveniste, especificamente os construídos em sua Linguística da Enunciação, compilados em suas duas obras de referência: Problemas de Linguística Geral I e II. Sabemos que os termos leitura e escrita não são objetos específicos de estudo de Benveniste, porém, com base em suas asserções sobre língua, linguagem, homem e sociedade, acreditamos ser possível um trabalho docente produtivo, em que ler e escrever se tornem atividades enunciativas nas quais locutores se propõem como sujeitos de seu dizer numa relação singular entre eu-tu-aqui-agora. A metodologia utilizada nesta proposta apresenta princípios qualitativo-metodológicos para uma análise de textos em diferentes situações de ensino de língua na escola, tomando-o como unidade de aprendizagem, especificamente nas atividades que envolvam a leitura e a escrita.
