Descriptive statistics were used for data analysis. Result: The staff that works does not have sufficient knowledge about welding (54%), nor about the standards used for the handling of welding (60%); a small percentage of them have received training in this area, being in 55.55% of the cases through courses

Metodología el método fue inductivo, el tipo de investigación fue descriptivo, documental y de campo. La población en esta investigación estuvo constituida por los 20 empleados de la empresa “Metal Mecánica Antonio Tirado” La muestra fue seleccionada al azar, siendo el único criterio el deseo de formar parte de este estudio, quedando constituida por 20 empleados La Técnica e instrumento de recolección de datos encuesta, el instrumento fue el cuestionario, el cual fue sometido a procesos de cálculo de validez y confiabilidad arrojando 0,97. Para el análisis de los datos se empleó el estadístico descriptivo. Resultado: El personal que labora no posee conocimiento suficiente sobre soldadura (54%), ni sobre los estándares empleados para el manejo de la soldadura (60%); un pequeño porcentaje de ellos han recibido formación sobre esta área, siendo en el 55,55% de los casos a través de cursos.O objetivo deste artigo de pesquisa foi analisar o conhecimento dos trabalhadores da empresa "Metal Mecánica Antonio Tirado" localizada na cidade de Ambato Panamericana Norte Km 7 sobre soldagem Metodologia o método foi indutivo, o tipo de pesquisa foi descritiva, documental e campo A população desta investigação foi constituída pelos 20 funcionários da empresa "Metal Mecánica Antonio Tirado" A amostra: foi selecionada aleatoriamente, sendo o único critério o desejo de fazer parte deste estudo, sendo constituído por 20 funcionários A técnica e instrumento de coleta de dados da pesquisa, o instrumento foi o questionário, que foi submetido a processos de cálculo de validade e confiabilidade, obtendo-se 0,97. A estatística descritiva foi utilizada para análise dos dados.
