| Sumario: | This article analyzes some educational reforms related to the teacher education for Basic Education in Brazil. Based on the literature review and document analysis of the educational legislation between 1996 and 2019, referrals to teaching are highlighted, which transit between vocational logic and professional perspectives. Disputes for control of this training by the business community have generated positions that are at odds with those defended by the teachers' movement, directly reflecting on the national curriculum guidelines for teacher education, subordinating teaching to the interests of the market. |
