Resumo:Technology has been an important ally for Basic Education in pandemic times, but there still are teachers and students with difficulties to adapt to this new reality. Hence, through its bibliographic bases, this study intends to present and debate questions related to the problematic of the remote teaching in Basic Education, including the limits and possibilities of educational success in that modality. The bibliographic survey showed that, although Brazil is a country that consumes a great number of technological resources, those have not being used in education. Furthermore, we verified that, in order to progress in the studies during social distancing, teachers and students had to reinvent themselves and, although the situation is controversial, it is believed that the practice of remote classes will bring future benefits, since we will have teachers with more expertise in the use of technologies. This occasion may then create more dynamic and interactive classes in the in-person teaching.
